Where the money actually goes

The single biggest driver of website cost is not page count — it is how much of the work is bespoke. A ten-page site on a design system we already have costs a fraction of a five-page site designed from a blank canvas, because the expensive part is the thinking and the review cycles, not the HTML.

The second biggest driver is anything that touches money or accounts. Adding payments, customer logins or a booking flow moves a project from "brochure" to "software": it needs proper data modelling, error handling, security review and testing. That is the jump you can see in the estimate when you tick those boxes.

Our published ranges are ₹15,000–₹50,000 for a business website, ₹50,000–₹3,00,000 for e-commerce, and from ₹1,00,000 for custom web applications and ERP. Every build includes hosting setup, an SSL certificate, technical SEO, an admin panel with training, and 30 days of post-launch support.

Common questions

Is this a real quote?

It is a real estimate built from our published price ranges — the same ones on our pricing page — not a number pulled out of the air. What it cannot do is account for the things that actually move a quote: an unusual integration, a migration from a system that fights back, or a design that needs three rounds. Treat it as a budget range you can plan around, and we will confirm it in writing after a short call.

Why is there a range rather than one price?

Because the honest answer to "what does a website cost" is always a range until someone has seen your requirements. The lower end assumes a straightforward build on a proven template of ours; the upper end assumes custom design, more complex logic and more review cycles. Most projects land in the middle.

Do you charge for the quote or the consultation?

No. The consultation is free and so is the written itemised quote. We would rather spend an hour finding out that we are not the right fit than sell you something you do not need.

What is not included in this estimate?

Ongoing costs. Hosting, domain renewal, SEO retainers and content work are separate — the estimate here covers the build itself. We include hosting setup, an SSL certificate and 30 days of post-launch support in every build, and we will tell you what the running costs look like before you commit.

Can I get it cheaper?

Usually yes, by scoping it down rather than by squeezing the rate — fewer custom pages, our template rather than a bespoke design, phase two features actually pushed to phase two. We will happily show you where the money is going and what dropping something saves. What we will not do is quote low and then invoice the difference as change requests.
